High Street Hero - Alsop & Walker

Self-taught cheesemaker Arthur Alsop has ploughed his own furrow, producing his own, unique style of wonderful cheese. Based in East Sussex, he uses milk from a local farmer to make his cheeses—the most successful of which is the Lord London: a semi-soft, cow’s milk cheese invented in honour of the London 2012 Olympics, which received a silver medal at the World Cheese Awards and ended up on the breakfast table at a royal wedding.
